OK pay attention to this.....
You obviously haven't been paying attention, the DA tried to reduce the charges because he himself told Vic and Terrance they were overcharged. But the judge denied the request because he seemingly wants the charges thrown out altogether. So he is basically forcing the DA's hand by refusing to let him refile lesser charges. He is saying either continue on with the charges you don't think are appropriate, or drop them altogether. And they will be dropped within a month.

And I never said the supervisor publically refuted the arresting officer, he didn't do it publically. But according to an Orem Police officer that knows both the arresting officer and his supervisor, and other sources close to the situation the sergeant of the arresting officer told the officer when he brought them in that he shouldn't have brought them in, and should have let everybody off with a warning, he later told this to Vic and Terrance and their parents as well. The arresting officer also exaggerated a couple of things in his report, one thing is that Terrance only broke down the 2nd door, he knocked loudly on the 1st door and the people inside opened it up.

And finally one of the water ballooners called Vic and told him that they(the water ballooners) were in the wrong, and that they were sorry. This person also told Vic that they were willing to plead on their behalf to the DA, the Honor Code office, or anybody if Terrance and Vic asked them to.

The DA will sit on this for a few weeks and then drop the charges altogether
