Access to the playoff is way different than maybe a NY6 Bowl. It is a whole other ballgame. So the analysis for it is different. You can now tell kids we have direct line playoff access when we win big. That matters.

Recruiting would take a hit. I don’t think BYU gets Zach Wilson if they’re in the AAC.

My opinion under the current system is P5 > Indy > G5. But if they make this change, I'll seriously re-evaluate.
