True, but I don't really like the scheduling structure. It works well having

5 division games, and 3 cross-divisional games every year, and then playing the other 3 teams from the other division the following year.

Recruiting would take a hit. I don’t think BYU gets Zach Wilson if they’re in the AAC.

The rules would be different though, so not sure you can evaluate things the same.

My opinion under the current system is P5 > Indy > G5. But if they make this change, I'll seriously re-evaluate.
