If BYU doesn’t go undefeated or one loss then they won’t be in a playoff. They will have to do it as an independent or in a conference. In other words they have to be a top ten team to guarantee a spot.

Why people think that would be easier in a conference doesn’t make sense and is a move in the wrong direction.
