Enabling horrible and unsafe behavior is not Christ-like. Don't virtue signal or say it's mean - fix the problem
for everybody by taking care of it with VRBO.
They told you what to do and what their process is. Under the guise of "sainthood" you are potentially putting other families, children, and VRBO itself in a bad situation because your wife doesn't want you to make a phone call.
