their daily regimen including chiro was second to none when compared to other franchises. Don’t know if that’s true or not, but that’s what I heard.
But I also remember hearing that both contributed much of their longevity to the strategy of playing close to the ground. Yea, they went up for rebounds when they had to and Malone had his hammer dunks, but on the most part they positioned themselves so well on the court that they didn’t have to be skying all over the place to have success.
Other than that I think they were incredibly fortunate.
