Once everyone knows you want it, the price of admission is too high. We've got to bring more to the table than we take. That's easier before the G5s start getting playoff access. Wait too long, and our relative value is lower.

P5>Indy>G5 may very well be changing, but if we wait around to see just how good life in a G5 will be under the new playoff system, we may have waited too long. BYU doesn't like taking chances, but it may have to soon or even G5 access may be limited.
