Almost every credit card covers theft, but you’re talking only $100 for you to

eat and FedEx would reimburse the $100, this is no brainer. I wouldn’t even pursue FedEx for $100, my time is more valuable than that.

FedEx is your agent, not theirs. Your customer will keep using you if you make it painless for them. You lose nothing.
