I'd go the opposite way, work as an associate, get speed and skills up, look
around for the ideal location to do a startup or buy a practice, which is tough to do just out of school with no $ to your name and no proven clinical production ability. (but the cool thing about dentistry is that there are a lot of ways to succeed, no right or wrong way)
