Yes. You will get a $3600 tax credit when you file your 2021 taxes next year.
It seems I read somewhere that you can log in to a portal to update your family situation (IE adding a dependent) and start collecting the half of the tax credit next month through December, but I don't know if that is accurate. I would just err on getting the full credit come tax season.
