Recruiting is significantly harder now. I think thats clear. Also, BYU had a

revolutionary O back then. They implemented something early that other teams werent built to stop. But everyone else caught up. We arent unique now. We try the same things as everyone else but with worae talent.

I dont think we can overstate how brutal it was to lose Grimes. BYUs OL has been dismal for 20 years. The only time it has been good is when its run by Grimes. I expect to see a major regression this year and in the future.
