Not sure if Independence has brought that up or down since then (I have my suspicions, but I'm not a fan of independence), but while #49 isn't stellar (Utah is #36), it's nothing to sneeze at either and gives BYU a chance to compete.

In a post-NIL world, it might be enough to put BYU among the haves instead of the have-nots
