This just happened. She noticed she was out there watering her front bushes
with a hose. Went back inside, took the bread, put a little bow thing on it and walked over 5 mins later.
I tend to believe my wife wasn't exaggerating.
I guess your scenario is plausible, but I don't know many people who WFH that will interrupt a meeting to go answer the door unless it's extremely urgent or they're expecting someone/something.

That does suck. They will probably also complain to friends that they have crappy neighbors and the neighborhood is mean

What time of day did she visit? Could the neighbor been in a work meeting? Did it happen exactly like that or was it
