He played good, not great. Against one of the worst defenses in the NFL (twice) and a team who didn’t have a QB. He proved that he might be a starting QB. But he certainly didn’t prove that he should be the guaranteed starter, and he certainly didn’t prove he’s the long term guy.
As far as Winston v. Taysom goes, if it’s close, it will go to Winston. He’s way younger and has more arm talent. Plus, when Taysom’s best attribute is his athleticism, it’s hard to go all in on him when he’s over 30.
