O Gaucho All-American
I grew up in OC and a lot of my family is still there. If the house was paid
off, I still think I could make it work but it definitely depends on how many kids. I have been amazed at how fast our savings soared once the kids were out of the house. For example, my car insurance with 2 teenage drivers was $1200 every six months. Now that they are gone, I just got the bill and it was something like $375. Food cost plummeted, they are no longer on our health insurance, etc.

It kind of stinks that when we need money the most, we make the least. When we need it least, we make the most.
