I went to that regional meet. It was great, sat behind WR LJ Mike Powell...I
I think he was coaching at UCLA at the time.
It would be nice to have a grandstand with shade. Even old Hayward field in cloudy Eugene Oregon, had shaded grandstands. The new Hayward field is something I would love to see at a big meet.
