Division Bell Intervention Needed
Post your worst food poisoning story
Mine:

Saturday afternoon, early Fall. BYU football game. Sunny and hot.

I hadn't eating anything before going to the game. I was rushed with chores around the house and had missed both breakfast and lunch. Picked up a hot dog and drink at the vendors at LES before the game, and another one at halftime. Put on all the usual condiments.

By that night my gut started hurting. 30 minutes later I was blowing chunks with authority.

It continued (and expanded to also take over the bowels) all night long... and into the next day. I was still dry heaving the next few days and struggled to hold much of anything down. My gut was just fine one moment, but as soon as I ate anything the wrenching would start again. It was so bad that I finally went to the doctor by Wednesday.

He asked me if I had eaten a hot dog at LES. Apparently, a lot of patients had come in with the same problem.

The pain after eating slowly dissipated over the next few weeks. It was a full month before I could eat regularly again without cramps afterwards. I lost 10 pounds during those first few days. Eventually it all came back, but I was surprised at how long my stomach cramps lasted.

Worst food poisoning I've ever experienced.
