I don’t want to leave my wife without support for that long. My kids also do much better when I’m home more.

I also think this is a rare opportunity for my kids to experience living in a new area with a different culture. My wife and I really enjoy looking for opportunities to give them new experiences and be around different kinds of people.

There is also a lot of history around South Carolina. I think it would be great to visit some of these places together.
