Do it. Take them. We planned a 3 week Maui trip during school and we planned out along with the teachers how the kids
Would stay on top of their work.
Of course that all never happened due to covid (Trip cancelled), but covid probably made this kind of getaway even easier.
These things only get harder as the kids get older so get it done while you can.
