Ellis…. Maybe. I remember mentioning it to my son when they were playing saying

That I don’t think this has ever happened before in the history of BYU basketball. Not much was said about it if anything on tv…. I’m not 100% certain but I think that was the year…. Or maybe it was an all black defensive backfield. Lol. I’m getting old.

In the 80’s Jeff Chatman said BYU had an all black team with 4 token white players. Loved that guy.
