That Chatman was some player. And the team at that time was really something

also. I watched BYU beat UCLA at Pauley Pavilion back in 1987. Jeff Chatman, Mike Smith, Marty Haws,
Steve Schreiner, Brian Taylor, Andy Toolson, Gary Trost, Jim Usevitch, Nathan Call, Alan Astle.
I am not sure that all those I listed are accurate. I'm sure someone will correct me if they are not.
That fadeaway jumper of Chatman was unblockable.

I lived in the south bay beach cities at the time.

In the 80’s Jeff Chatman said BYU had an all black team with 4 token white players. Loved that guy.
