I thought it had happened in the last decade, but it sounds like
it didn't.
What I've never liked about sports is that you watch games at some schools and they have 5 AA on the floor. You look at the crowd and you're seeing almost zero AA and the same with the cheerleaders. It is what it is, but it doesn't represent the school.
That said, If I were the coach, you'd better believe me that I'd be putting the best player I can find on the field/court. Race is irrelevant.
At the same time, I'm personally advocating that we all quit focusing on race. I know the government is focused on putting everyone in one racial bucket or another, but we need to move from that. I want to not care or even notice that there are five AA or whatever on the court and simply note there are the five of our best players/athletes out there.
