We are not rivals. We do not play in the same division of college football. We dont seriously recruit the same athletes anymore. Our program is a novelty, much like the service academies or Ivy League schools. We play a schedule of exhibition games and are rewarded with a leftover bowl game. The gap between the two programs is enormous and I really dont care much about Utah anymore. I honestly wish BYU would stop playing them and we'd stoo calling this a rivalry because it ceased to be one about a decade ago.
