It's been reported that if OU and UT want to jump by 2022 (prior to the 2025 GOR), they'd each owe $80 million.
That's a lot of money.
But if the SEC has worked out some significant NIL deals, they may pay to immediately jump.
I wonder what role NIL might have had in this madness. I'm guessing that all parties knew the NIL change was coming and tried to leverage their business in anticipation of it.
