Right, this isn't born of hope for BYU so much as realism regarding the B12
schools left. B10 will talk to KU but won't invite them.
The flipside to this view is that there's a reason the other P5 conferences won't jump to invite the remnants. BYU won't be joining the Big 12 of yesteryear. But it will be something.
