While there are clearly long-term successful franchises and long-term dogs, every team at the start of the season goes in with an equal shot. Teams with a good front office and good coaching tend to acquire good players and are successful. The opposite we call the New York Jets, in recent history at least.
And the NFL doesn't allow super teams because they have a real salary cap. Ish.
I doubt I would watch a semi-pro super conference until at least the playoffs.
