To me, this is best case scenario for TX and OU.
They get a big pay raise without having to deal eith murderers row every year in the SEC. This was probably their angle all along.
And in reality, this is the best case scenario for the 8 other coattail-riders in the Big 12. They keep their elite P5 status, and still get a much bigger revenue share than what they'd get if their league dissolved. In reality, TX and OK are probably worth even more than this.
