If the PAC gets whittled to 8 or 6 teams there is no more tradition…
The Big 12 history is now dead. There will be a conference named the Big 12, but past perceptions are over.
Same would be true for remaining PAC teams.
You can be sure that USC as anchor should be gone in that scenario.

A 4 time zone conference would be a massive logistical nightmare. And the B10 already has 14. Going above 16 seems nuts
