I watched the gymnastics team qualifiers on Sunday. I know hardly anything about women's gymnastics because, well, I'm not a Ute fan.

But I watched Simon Biles compete and nearly everything she tried she made some big mistakes (on the floor she landed several feet outside the box and had to run back in). It was clear Biles did more difficult routines but I was very surprised at how well they scored her compared to other US gymnasts. I came away thinking that everyone combined to have Biles compete for a medal, even if her performance wasn't as good as other US gymnasts. I felt bad for some of her teammates.
