As sports enthusiasts we are not used to seeing the GOAT in ANY sport drop out of competition, especially the most important competition in your sport for any reason. We have images of these amazing athletes that push themselves past the limit and succeed doing it.

Then, this happens to the GOAT of gymnastics and it just doesn't compute. If it was a physical injury that we can see and understand is one thing. The fact that we have to take her word that she just couldn't compete mentally is new for us as a society.

I hope she gets the help that she needs.
