but I don’t think the per team share stays constant if Big 12 expands membership to more than 10. I also think ESPN could theoretically renegotiate with Big 12 to increase the per team share but keep the membership at 8. In effect saying if you don’t expand we will pay you each X more through end of contract. The 10 number is the contracted number between Big 12 and ESPN so both can agree to a contract modification.
