How does that work if UT and Oklahoma aren’t “leaving” until after the contract

Not a legal expert but I doubt the contract has an if people say they are leaving in the future we can negotiate the remaining deal. So oklahoma and Texas would have to pay the $80M each and ESPN gets more than that out of the contract and somehow passes it onto them.

That is not true. ESPN/Fox still stuck with it through 2025. The B12 tried to renegotiate and the TV partners declined.
