StalwartBraveTrue Intervention Needed
Thanks. I guess that’s what I’m getting at. CFP is the king.
What CFP decides regarding the status of the b12 at their next negotiation will make or break the b12.

And if the CFP says that these remaining 8 teams don’t count as p5 any longer then the writing is on the wall for all the .500 and lower teams in p5 conferences.

Why? Because if the CFP decides that absent OU/TX the other teams are g5 caliber then they can do the same thing to Rutgers, Purdue, Oregon St., Wazoo, Indiana, UU, Colorado, UA, UVA, Wake Forest, etc.

It will be defacto recognition that p5 is about the name schools and not the conference. It gives tOSU/UM and USC/Oregon/UCLA extreme leverage. Because if they leave then the rest of the conference is at risk of relegation within minutes.

Can’t wait to see what happens.
