Wow! That should shut down any complaints about the 12 team playoff. Masterful bit of manipulation there.

Truth is: SEC wins if it is 4, wins if it is 8, wins if it is 12. However, the L8 and G5 also win if it is 12. The SEC is actually a better steward of college football because they can afford to encourage merit instead of propping up the "traditions" which simply acted to discriminate against newer conferences and teams. Rather strange twist of fate.
