Myers and Hosmer are dragging the team down. Machado was an MVP finalist last
Year. He is a notoriously slow starter and got off to a slow start but is still hitting above his career OPS this season while playing Gold Glove defense.
He has a plus-1.030 OPS in his last 30 games.
