I haven't seen this posted and wasn't aware that the AAC wrote a letter to the P5 conferences requesting a discussion about inclusion a couple months ago. If the AAC gaining autonomy has any legs (BIG BIG if...), then this makes me believe the AAC poaching the Big 12 and not the other way around could have been feasible if they had some assurances this would happen from the stronger P5 conferences, especially with ESPN backing, and it also drastically changes the dynamic of the current realignment scene.
