Again, I don't think I'm being unreasonable when I say that there wasn't much drop off, if any, when comparing Jaren and Baylor to Zach as we got to see how all three performed as a starter in just one season. We got to see Jaren in a rivalry game vs USU and he performed out of his mind. Before the concussion he looked like a prime-time QB, both as a scrambler and through the air. We got to see Baylor vs prime-time competition in Boise State. I'm pretty sure we were their only loss that year, or maybe they dropped 1 more or close to that, but they were undefeated and rising in the top 25 and Baylor came in and just dominated like he had been doing it for years. I think it's important to also instill the mindset that at some point, QB's 1-3 will see the field as a starter during the season going forward. If history proves anything.
