I agree, most tv broadcasts don’t do it justice. But I think the combination
of what they do is an incredible feat itself. It is THE feat.
To say they aren’t elite in one event seems like we are getting upset that 10k runners aren’t elite at the 800, only pretty good.
But to each their own. FWIW, the diamond leauge will occasionally have a deacath only meet that’s fun to watch.

what you are complaining about is the whole point of the event. they're the Taysom Hills of the Olympics
