The two highest profile teams in the pac-12 are USC and Oregon.
Hands down. If Utah played either on a Saturday in 2019, they would’ve been marquee. Maybe even Gameday worthy, depending on the week.
Those two are always going to be the biggest draws.
Utah played both, but you skip both games in your assessment but use the other Pac 12 teams’ USC/Oregon games to use against Utah.
Seems a little odd.
Utah played USC in a high profile nationally televised game on a Friday night.
Utah also played Oregon in the highest rated Pac-12 game in 5 years.
I don’t think the Pac-12 was shying away from Utah as you suggest.
Not saying Utah is a great TV draw, I think we know the limitations. But I do think Utah is a markedly larger draw than you imply.
Utah ended up with the 3rd highest TV ratings in the conference.
