Is the pandemic the shake-up that we needed to jump start our program?
Without our break-out year last year (largely due to playing an easier schedule and increased notoriety because most other teams weren’t playing), do we go 11-1, have 5 players drafted, a top 10 Heisman vote getter and 2nd overall pick? It may be that the pandemic and its impact on college football was exactly the disruption that BYU football needed to seemingly be turning a corner with our program and stepping into a legitimate P5 role. The last 12 years have been very painful in continually being reminded of Utah’s dominance and P5 advantages over us, but today is a new day, and I believe our trajectory is beyond what Utah has or will ever accomplish. I believe, as others have stated, a sleeping giant is being awakened, and with P5 affiliation around the corner, the future looks very bright.

Win or lose, let’s go all in on our Cougars, and have both feet in the boat with this program.
