Realistically, there's only about 3-5 games each week that most people could tell you about that don't involve their team or a conference mate. Last week, those were probably Oregon/Ohio St, Florida St/Jacksonville St, Iowa/Iowa St, Texas/Arkansas and maybe Stanford/USC (mostly as a result of Helton being fired).
Saying that BYU/Utah wasn't a huge deal on the national scene isn't wrong, and it's really not a big insult either.
If your argument about what constitutes nationally relevant is every game that involves any movement in the Top 25, then absolutely that game was nationally relevant. Honestly, I think we're just using different measures of what constitutes getting a lot of attention, but agreeing on the amount of attention it got.
