ASU's first 3 games are eerily similar to their first 3 games in 2019:
2019 Schedule/results
1 - Thursday Aug. 29 (home) Kent State Golden Flashes W 30-7
2 - Friday Sep. 6 (home) Sacramento State Hornets W 19-7
3 - Saturday Sep. 14 at 18 Michigan State Spartans W 10-7
2021 Schedule/results
1 - Thursday Sep. 2 (home) Southern Utah Thunderbirds W 41-14
2 - Saturday Sep. 11 (home) UNLV Rebels W 37-10
3 - Saturday Sep. 18 at 23 BYU Cougars
They actually looked worse in their first two games in 2019 and then they go up and upset #18 Michigan State in East Lansing. You don't think Spartan fans thought that ASU was overrated and that they would be an easy win? Don't be so quick to judge them by how they performed in their first two games.
Even more weird is that their fourth game in both seasons, Colorado at home.
