Watched some ASU footage. Not overly impressive to date but if the BYU players or coaches think this team is overrated for one second they have a good chance at getting smoked. Good thing is that I don’t believe at all that they think that. But the fans? Hard for me to comprehend how easily fans forget how hard football games are to win week in and week out, especially considering that a game so often can have a tendency to take on a head-scratching life of its own.

We have one game this year we can feel 100% safe about...Idaho State...that’s it. I’m not saying we can’t crush USF and a couple of others, but we only need look at last year, or the year before that, and on and on, to know that there will be highs and lows. Hopefully the lows don’t end up with an L that on paper should have been a W.
