all that matters in the coming years is that you beat utah. And if they simply lose and are not as competitive, BYU can jump all over that. If BYU was 11-1, with BYU the only blimp it would be great for BYU this year and our strength of schedule. But they would still be able to grow and recruit well. I am more in the long game. Having Utah lose and lose big, will sway kids back to BYU.

Now, BYU first and foremost needs to simply win and beat Utah as well. But, having Utah fall off the map would be nothing but a positive.
