Awesome per capita; still low population
The “per capita” argument doesn’t dispel the opposing argument that Utah isn’t a recruiting hotbed.
We have fantastic programs in Utah, but the population of a given class is simply too low to pump kids into the BIG12 by the bushel.
How many 4 star kids will come out of Utah this year? Now compare that to “hotbeds” like Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, California, etc.
This isn’t a diss on Utah, which truly is a GREAT “per capita” state for Football.
