I'm okay that MAW foundation asked for his resignation. It's part of the gig. Holding such a position doesn't limit you from being a good and passionate fan, but making fun and bringing negative attention to someone with a troubled past is way out of bounds. It's the mantel one takes upon himself in representing any entity.

No Doug Robinson, you have some valid points, and there has been many that have crossed the line under this story, but personally I don't like shame tactics either and saying "Imagine that, a fan taking things too far", which sounds a bit like you are attempting to rationalize what he did.
