to be fair, Oldroyd was warming up in the pregame and looked like there was zero
problems and was kicking great balls.
just over the halfway point of warmups he walks over to the sideline grabbing his back right after a place kick and went straight to Lamb, Lamb didn't look happy at all, and they both walked straight to the locker room right in the middle of warm ups with Oldroyd holding his back.
Just based on how things were going, I would say, until that moment, Oldroyd thought he was a go for the game, and then boom, 30 minutes before kickoff all of a sudden coaches have to change things up.
I don't think anyone was expecting that or was happy about it, Oldroyd included.
