Terrible take. People were elated because it saved the game and was a display of
pure drive, passion, hustle and smarts on Allgeier's part....not to mention a reflection of Hall's drive to be involved in the play and recover the fumble. This was the perfect example of the intangibles that make a good team great.

It's also human nature to give more value to contrast. The sunlight feels so much better after weeks of rain, the rain feels great after weeks of 100 degree days. Light vs dark. Pleasure vs pain. Visiting a loved one after a long absence....A devastating potential pick-6 becomes zero points for the foe and another chance for the Cougs.

This was MUCH, MUCH more than a 70 yard loss.
