I see what you are saying but disagree a little bit
If you want to keep attracting people to the stadium to watch the games live you are going to need to provide an always improving environment.

New stadiums, big renovations, better amenities all create a better fan experience and sell more tickets.

With Utah County growing there will be additional opportunities to sell suites and to host more events but that will require renovations.

Lastly, recruiting improves whenever facilities improve. We can’t just sit on LES and let every other team in the BIG12 dump money into their stadiums and expect to compete.

I’m all for doing it with fiscal responsibility, BYU would make sure that happens anyway, but major renovations to seating, press box, suites, locker rooms, concessions and overall aesthetics will all need to happen for BYU to stay competitive.
