Looks like he’s trying to drive him into the ground and land on him with his
full weight. I think could just be a normal tackle. I would try to use my weight to make sure he was down too.
He makes no effort to soften it that’s for sure. But can you expect that in this situation?
His legs going in like that make it look like he’s trying to ride him.
It doesn’t strike me as dirty… i would just call it rough but part of the game. Is he trying to hurt him? I say yes… but it’s within the boundaries to me of what’s acceptable. He’s just making a punishing tackle and finishing it as hard as he can.

It was a hard hit for sure. I just have a hard time when you are chasing a guy to prevent a TD in a close game,

CB: Punching the ball out is the greatest play, maybe ever. Also CB: Using a knee to try and knock the ball out is dirty
